Assembled from an elite team of arrogant scenesters, VOLUME VOLUME's current lineup and name date from 2009 in Albuquerque, New Mexico, but the members have been playing together and seperately across the United States for over ten years. VOLUME has played with acts as various as: Pretty Girls Make Graves, Reverend
Horton Heat, The Genetorturers, The Vibrators, The Epoxies, Captured! By Robots,
Teenage Bottlerocket, The Prids, Suffrajet, The Dollyrots, Ex-Models, Electric
Eel Shock, Phenomenauts, and Texas Terri and the Stiff Ones. It's members' other
projects have opened for Collective Soul, Better than Ezra, Meg and Dia, Vedera,
Melee, Facing New York, MuteMath, Zebrahead, among thousands of others.
As well as with or for virtually every act to ever call Albuquerque home, such
as: The Shins, Beirut, Hawk and a Hacksaw, The Eyeliners, The Rondelles, The Handsome
Family, Bang! Bang!, Soular, The Lowlights, Your Name in Lights, Oktober People,
Unit 7 Drain, 500, Black Maria, Supergiant, Last Day Parade, Below the Sound,
Creepshow, Feels Like Sunday, The Foxx, The Dirty Novels, Hit by a Bus, Scared
of Chaka, The Ground Beneath, and pretty much all the rest.
VOLUME VOLUME acts like they are all rock start and stuff, but totally "bring
it" and leave red faced and sweaty. They will still try to make out with
your girlfriend or boyfriend.
